At 6:00 p.m. in Central Park, New York, the UN’s newest Global Advocate for Íæż½ã½ã, Maryam Bukar Hassan, will be performing at the Summer StageÌýfestival on behalf of the UN’s Íæż½ã½ã and Security Pillar.ÌýShe will be introduced by Assistant-Secretary-General for Africa, Martha Amyaa Pobee and followed by other performances celebrating African Diaspora voices and music for peace. The event is free and open to the public. More information on the Global AdvocateÌý will take place from July 27–29, and will be co-hosted by Ethiopia and Italy. As we approach four years since the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS), UNFSS+4 will provide a platform for reflecting on progress, strengthening collaboration, and unlocking finance and investments to accelerate food systems transformation.Ìý
