Activities relating to capacity-building

Capacity-building is one of the core objectives of the Regular Process. The programme of work for the second cycle of the Regular Process foresees a number of activities to facilitate needs-based capacity-building, including the compilation and maintenance of a capacity-building inventory on the Regular Process web-portal; developing, delivering and following up on regional workshops; developing partnerships and fundraising for the Regular Process voluntary trust fund and for the special scholarship fund (including implementation of the special scholarship). Capacity-building is also to be achieved through the development and maintenance of a virtual community of practice, publications and substantive Regular Process web-portal content, as well as through the holding of a multi-stakeholder dialogue and capacity-building partnership event.
